Could You Hit Tina Turner?

Think about that for a minute. There are multiple sides to every story, but it’s mystifying to think that she put up with her sick genius husband for as long as she did. This is a woman who, with those legs, could undoubtedly still dropkick you through the goalposts of hell.

As good as Ike was otherwise, as a bandleader, as a piano player and especially as a guitarist (no other player had more of an influence on Keith Richards), he’ll always be remembered as a crackhead who beat his wife. And now it’s too late for him to do anything about it. It probably was years ago.

Serves him right.
